Keyshia Cole Postpones SA Tour

American songstress Keyshia Cole has once again postponed her upcoming tour to South Africa.

Between 24 January and 26 January, the “Trust and Believe” hitmaker was scheduled to perform at the Sun Bet Arena in Tshwane, Carnival City in Ekurhuleni, and the GrandWest Grand Arena, respectively, in Cape Town.

However, the recent wildfires in Los Angeles, California, which resulted in the destruction of Cole’s home, have prompted her to pause the tour.

Organisers Glen21 Entertainment provided further details in a statement posted on Twitter/X on Thursday, 16 January:

“The LA fires have ravaged the lives of countless artists that we know and love. Unfortunately, Keyshia Cole is one of the artists that has been greatly affected, losing her home and having her world changed in the process. As a result of this, ‘Keyshia Cole: Live in South Africa’ will not take place as scheduled.

“The wellbeing of the artist and her family are of the utmost importance during this difficult time. We ask you to keep her in your thoughts as we assess how to proceed. A way forward will be communicated by the end of next week.”

This follows the postponement of the tour last September, which the organisers attributed to “unforeseen circumstances.”

Here’s hoping Keyshia Cole can find the strength and support she needs during this challenging time.
